I cosigned for my daughter, can this record be removed from my credit report?

Q: I just have a question. I co-signed on a car loan for my daughter. She makes the payment solely. The balance shows up on both our credit reports. Is there a way to remove it from my credit report?
A: The answer is NO. As a cosigner, you are responsible. If your daughter defaults, the lender has every right to go after you. See cosigning a loan for more information.
