If you are disputing your credit report with TransUnion Credit Bureau, and the dispute can't be resolved by TransUnion investigation, you may add a Consumer Statement to your credit report.

Consumer statement is some sort of an explanation which can sway perspective lenders decision on whether give you the money or not.

You can write this statement and send it together with your name, address, and TransUnion File Number to:

TransUnion Consumer Relations
P. O. Box 2000
Chester, PA 19022

If you need help to write a consumer statement, please call TransUnion Credit Bureau at 800-916-8800, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 until 4:30 in your time zone. You must have your TransUnion File Number.
