The FreeNet Checking Account from EverBank offers introductory 6.01% Annual Percentage Yield for the first 3 months after account opening. This is very nice, however, afterwards the interest paid will depend on the average collected daily balance, with APY rates currently at:

4.41% if balance is over $100K
4.00% if balance is between $50,000 and $99,999
3.60% if balance is between $25,000 and $49,999
3.30% if balance is between $10,000 and $24,999
3.25% if balance is under $9,999

Minimum opening deposit is $1,500.

During the three-month period, the introductory rate will be applied to the first $100,000. Any balance above will receive the applicable ongoing rate. The EverBank FreeNet Checking Account also offers optional Online Bill Pay for a monthly fee of $4.95, that is waived as long as the minimum average daily balance of $1,500 is maintained.
