Bad credit repair and "no money down" home purchase.
Q: How bad can be my credit score if I am planning to buy a house with no money down? I checked with few lenders, and getting somewhat conflicting answers. I make enough money to show my income and have about $11,000 in savings. My scores are 605, 617 and 634.
A: I believe the cut off bad credit score for no-money-down purchase is 640. You are almost there. See what you have to do to improve your scores. No reason to hurry, the home market will be at the buyer hands for quite some time. But do check if my number is correct, but regardless do some credit repair. If you give some specifics I may be able to help, that is if you need any help.
