Duplicate accounts - accounts reported twice

Q: Can one account by the same creditor be reported as two separate accounts?

A: Duplicate accounts happen all the time. Normally the have very similar numbers, balances, credit limits, dates when they were open, and so on. It should be quite easy to explain to a potential lender if question arise.
