Delinquent student loans - consolidated student loan and previous delinquency
If you have few delinquent student loans, consolidation won't just get rid of the delinquencies. If you consolidated student loans which were at some point delinquent, these loans still will be showing as delinquent. Defaulted federal student loans appear on your credit report for 7 years.
