High credit scores are more important than ever

Times have never been better for home buyers and likely to get even better. The prices are steadily eroding and unsold homes are mounting. But to qualify for a home loan, especially if you are the first time home buyer without 20% down payment, your credit scores better be high. The less money you have to put down, the higher credit scores you need. The score of 680 isn't going to cut it anymore. Try raising your middle credit score to 750 at least.
