Q: I requested debt validation a month ago and just received a photocopy of the original signed agreement from the original creditor as well as copies of all statements showing late payments, statements with over-the-limit evidence and even bounced payments due to insufficient funds. I have two collection agencies after this debt - almost $12,000. Is there anything that I can do?
A: You can do two things - do the right thing and pay or try to get a lawyer who may or may not find some loophole. I would pay.
