Production at Mexico gigantic Cantarell oil field is falling off a cliff faster than you say 'hello'. Crude output from Cantarell, the world's third-largest oil field, is falling at the fastest pace in 12 years, and is down a stunning 34% in May from 2007 - a loss of more than 540,000 barrels a day. At $140 per barrel, it is a loss of $75,600,000 USD .... in a single day ....
