US dollar forecast is mixed

US dollar is going to get stronger according to forecast by many economists. Based on following factors - likely slowdown in Europe, Federal Reserve raising interest rates, demographics and productivity, some say that the dollar is going higher for the rest of 2008 and first half of 2009. For others however US dollar forecast isn't that bright, with rising oil prices, US recession and many countries including Japan, China diversifying out of the dollar, it is going to trade water for the next 6 to 8 months before going lower.
