Charge-off on a credit report

Q: I am currently going through a situation where I'll be receiving a Charge-off on my credit report. My good credit will soon be destroyed, to say the least. I was just wondering if Charge-offs and other derogatory accounts can really be removed from credit reports - there are several links on your web page that claim this to be so.
A: I am not sure which links you are referring to, but I don't think Bad Credit Advisor (BCA) ever claimed other than charge offs will definitely stay on a credit report for 7 years. You might be referring to the advertiser's content, but BCA has no responsibility on what advertisers claim. You can check the most recent Charge off debts and credit reports post as well as bad credit charge offs page for clarification.
