Investment property loans - real estate investment financing
has just become a bit easier. At least with the latest Fannie Mae changes, an investor with excellent credit scores can now have 10 investment properties on his or her name/social security - up from 4 investment property mortgage loans which was the case just several days ago. Having a credit score of 720 minimum and 25% down payment are pretty much must haves. You can buy a single investment property unit - a house, duplex or condominium with 25%. Buying a multi unit residence - 2 to 4 flat, requires 30% down. Obviously, this is an effort on the part of a treasury to decrease unsold and still growing inventory of existing homes.
