Experian Advanced Risk Score 2.0 range
Since Experian FICO is no longer available, several financial institutions are offering Experian Advanced Risk Score 2.0, which belongs to the FICO NextGen scores. The Advanced Risk Score 2.0 range is from 150 to 950 points, leading to further confusion among consumers on how just to interpret this credit score.
So I spoke to the Alliant Credit Union rep and she had no clue. Told me to talk to Experian, what a joke. I got a hold of someone in mortgage department and he told me they could give you a loan even if you Advanced Risk Score in 500 range if everything else is according to their guidelines.
UPDATE ... I found another Alliant loan rep, she said the following,
- they use Equifax FICO only, no TransUnion FICO whatsoever for ALL lending decisions
- Experian Advanced Risk Score 2.0 is just for you, the consumer to get some idea
- from her experience, your Equifax FICO is 15 to 20 points lower than your Experian Advanced Risk Score 2.0
