Statute of limitations in Kentucky

Q: What is the statute of limitations on debts in Kentucky. I have several credit cards on which I am hoping SOL is about to expire, as well as few odd amounts sold to collectors a while back. They are small but add up. Also, statute on judgments please.
A: Statute of limitations in Kentucky are 5 years on Oral Agreements and Open Accounts. The latter covers credit card debt. Written Contracts and Promissory Notes have 15 years. Only two other states, Rhode Island and Ohio have 15-year SOL on any type of debt.
Kentucky statute of limitations on judgments is 15 years also with 12% maximum interest.
