RE: Account #012354575/ VISA/ Amt: $1,247

Dear Collection Manager:

This letter serves as my intent to resolve the past due balance that was written off as a charge-off by Capital One.

This debt went unpaid due to the circumstances and hardship beyond my control.

I am now in a position to settle this matter.

I will send you via certified mail a cashier’s check for $1,247 in return for the official letter stating that Capital One agrees to remove this derogatory CHARGE OFF status from all credit reporting agencies.

Capital One will also change the status of original record to PAID AS AGREED/CLOSED BY CONSUMER

This letter must be on official Capital One letterhead with all relevant signatures.

Only after I receive such a letter and review it to my satisfaction, I will forward to you the payment in full.
