Credit Report Sections

Section: Derogatory Accounts

This section name is self explanatory and this is the one you definitely don't need. It "proudly" displays all the things that went wrong for you financially. All of the accounts shown were closed sometime ago but they remain on your credit report and very negatively affect your credit score and rating.

Three columns are most important here

• creditor column shows "Late Dates" - when the late payment occurred and for how many days late it was - the DAIMLERCHRYS account shows 12/01-30 meaning that you were 30 days late in December of 2001 - IRWIN MTG, the last account shows you were late twice in March and April of 1997 - that was seven years ago but still shows
• the fourth column from the right confirms the above information  - under 30 you see the grayed number 1 on DAIMLERCHRYS - if you are late twice, as in case of IRWIN MTG, the grayed number is 2
• status has  "CUR WAS 30", meaning essentially the same 30 days late occurrence - "CHARGE OFF" means it was discharged as a part of your bankruptcy agreement - "COLLECTION" - means it was put for collection
