Credit Report SectionsSection: Score ModelsThere are three main credit reporting agencies, and each has its own market name for the same credit scoring model (FICO):
This strip shows a portion from a 3 in 1 or tri-merged report. First row displays name of the agency, its scoring model, name of the person and his or her social security. Second row shows the credit score for this agency based on above scoring model. The other four rows represent special codes that the scoring model takes into account when calculating the score. How it does exactly, what values are assigned for each code, what is the input of each code into the final score - no one outside of the credit agency and people who developed the model really know. |
